ADHD Coaching for Adults
with Susan Flynn Lowry
I was diagnosed with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at age 25, after completing a business degree, while training for professional accounting exams. I had plenty of friends, many interests, and an active social life, but despite early academic success, I was struggling with my job, professional exams, and life in general. Everyone told me I had SO MUCH POTENTIAL, but I never felt like I truly fit in.
This came up with my doctor, who observed this struggle to belong, along with problems with concentration, time management, and motivation could be a sign of ADHD. I was shocked at her insights and spent the next two decades learning about and growing with my ADHD.
Today, I Embrace NOT Fitting In! I partner with adults at the beginning of their ADHD journey. I understand the challenges and learning curve involved in managing life as an adult with ADHD. My coaching employs decades of personal experience and involvement with academic research, which facilitates an easier path to discovering clients' unique ADHD gifts. I empower people to navigate their own ADHD journey by developing skills and strategies to manage ADHD symptoms and challenges.
My Coaching Philosophy
Whether or not we have been diagnosed with ADHD, our struggles with inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, executive function, and emotional regulation affect our daily functioning and quality of life. Sometimes it feels like we live in an ADHD-unfriendly world. While this can be true, my coaching philosophy is based on building and recognizing underlying strengths, not only those demonstrated through overcoming ADHD challenges but those pivotal to problem-solving in a society with an uncertain future.
You & Your ADHD
If you are ready to embrace your ADHD, I can guide you through a balanced journey tailored to your specific needs that embraces this unique brain wiring. If we decide to work together, this is how my coaching philosophy can contribute to meaningful progress.

Change is Good
ADHD is complicated. I don’t expect us to set out on a linear path neatly bookended by goals and outcomes. With me as your thinking partner, we can look for clues and see where it takes us. Over time, small wins can build to big, lasting changes.
